Transcript	Hd. Quar’s 2nd Division, 8th A. C. Winchester, Va. June 4th, 1863 My Dear Mary I was paid last night & have a $100 to spare & enclosed, I send it to you. The man is waiting to take it & I have no time to say anything. The rebs. are in considerable force at Strasburg & I have skirmishing with them daily, & am looking for an attack hourly & will doubtless have it soon. Am ready for them, & will give them a warm reception. In haste. Yours truly, R. H. Milroy
