I, Rutherford Wysory, MD. a surgeon in
the Confederate Army do hereby
give my pledge of honors, not
to gain or convey any information of the
numbers, or situation of the
Federal force at Winchester, Virga
or in its Vicinity.
And further, still I will
not impart any information of
any character which will be
of benefit to the Confederate
army and detrimental to the
United States. Fancy if such
information was obtained by
me while within the lines of the
United States forces at Winchester.
