My Dear Robert
The enclosed
letter I received this morning
and send it to you, hoping
that poor soldier will
succeed in getting the
P. office. I received your
letter of Mar 19th My has
improved considerable so that
I can be about and attend
to my duties again but have
to be careful and not exert
myself too much the child-
ren are tolerably well Brucey
has quite a cold and Val
has been complaining of
head ache today my girl
took french leave yesterday
and Ella is acting Bridget to
Handwritten; 1 sheet, double folded, 3 sides of writing; pencil on white stationery with light blue lines
