General Orders
 
          No. 29. 

 
 
 
 
I. This the Independence Day of the Nation, will be cele-  
brated by the troops of this Brigade under the direction 
of  the Chief Marshall of the Day, Col. Milroy.

 
         
II.                     Two Companies of each Regiment and 
            one Company of the 15th & 16th Ohio and 1st 
            Virginia Detachments will remain as a Guardian 
            for their respective Camps.

 
 
   III                 The procession will be formed at 11 
            o’clock this morning on the parade ground in 
            front of Head Quarters.  The signal for forming 
            will be the firing of one gun by Col. Garrett’s 
            Artillery.  The particular order & exercises 
            will be made known on parade by the 
            Chief Marshall.
