My Dear Pa
I thought that
I would write you a few lines
to let you know how we are
all getting along. Ma and Brucy
is very sick, Brucy was taken sick
on Saturday night and had
four spasms on Sunday
Ma then sent for
Dr. Loughridge he is better to-
day than he was on Sunday,
but is still quite sick with
lung fever. Ma was taken down
very sick yesterday but she thinks
that she will be better in a few
days and is better today and hopes
