   You can make arrangements with 
railway companies for the transporta= 
tion of recruits for your regiment from 
their residences or neighborhood to 
the regl rendezvous, at the rate which 
has been agreed on generally with the 
various railway companies.  Arrang= 
ments will be made to pay the rail= 
way companies upon the presentation 
of proper vouchers, duly certified by 
you.  But it is understood that a 
strict account must be kept of 
recruits for whom the transportation 
is thus furnished, and who, of course 
will not be allowed any travelling 
allowance from their place of com= 
pany organization or residences to 
the regl rendezvous.
