I received your letter
of Sept. 25th, and it is the only one I
have received since the one dated Aug. 21st
I regret that I did not get that “long letter”
giving me an account of your chase
after the rebels, but did get the $300.00
sent from Nashville on the 14th inst.
and I presume that Dwiggins did
not get your letter as I have not seen or
heard anything of it, and Cicero says
that he has not heard from you or had a
letter. I am sorry that Cicero does not do
letter, he is evidently so much engaged
in that printing office, that he cannot do
justice to law business.
Have you received my letters asking for
instructions about selling the old
Ark property to Carson, Babs son in law,
he wants to know your price, he offers
$300.00 for it, making the first payment of
$100.00 in the spring and $100.00
annually until all paid, but I think we
can get him to pay $50.00 down and
$100.00 in the spring, the property has all
gone to rack we have received a cent
of rent from it that I know of, the tenants
Handwritten; 2 sheets, 3 sides of writing; pencil on white stationery with light blue lines
