Transcript	Rensselaer, Ind. Sept 21st 1864 My Dear Robert Why is it we dont get any letters from you? the last letter we received was dated Aug 21st are you so busy that you can’t write..? or is anything rong? let me know the worst for I imagine a thousand evils and feel very lonely when I fail to get letters from you. I received the package of $300.00 but was sadly disappointed when I found no letters with it. I put in Bank $200.00 of it the other hundred I am useing for family expenses.
