		Enclosed I send you 
a few pictures to fill out your collection 
Maj Genl Rosseau is my immediate comdg 
officer. Col Krzyanowski comds one of  
my brigades & is stationed in Stephenson, 
Ala. He is a noble Pole & a most splend 
id officer. I served with him under Sigel 
in VA & think a great deal of him. He 
ought to be a Maj. Genl. Brig Genl. Thomas 
is Adjt Genl. of the U.S. Brig Gen John Miller 
you will remember is the Col. who comd 
the new Regt, recruiting at Laporte when I 
recruited the 9th there. He now comdgs the 
Post of Nashville. He has one eye shot out. 
 
 
 
Butterfield is a West Point Maj Genl & has 
written some Military books& is a very good 
officer. Maj McBride was  one of my Vol Lts 
& is now at Memphis in a Colored Artillery Regt.
