for Ind. & several more Brigs.
He informed us that Halleck recommended
Reynolds for Maj. Gen. We had
a meeting of our delegation last night,
all the Republicans present, also Gen
Migret, Hubman & Cravens; who vote
right on the war. for affirms for,
Law& Firshies not there.
Of course
I had been at work, but have not time
now to tell you all about it. We
resolved to vote for two Major Generals.
