We have been having a drenching
rainstorm last night. Yesterday and night
before last, and no mail last night.
I always feel lonesome without a daily paper
or letter from you. The water raised a foot or
more in our cellar, I had Ben take up the
potatoes and other things out of the water this
morning. It is considerably colder this morning
and the ground is a glair of ice. Our little
ones are about through with the measles. Ella is
still in bed but feels much better this morning
they were out on her very sick on Sabbath and
Monday. They made her very sick, she suffered
from severe pain in her head, sore throat and
lungs, they did not make Walter or baby
so sick as to confine them long to bed.
Val has not received his voice yet, it tired of being
confined in the house and anxious to go back to school.
Cicero is now well enough to attend to business
in the office. Ben sawed 3 cord of wood for
