Dear Frank
I am ashamed of myself not writing you a letter any sooner, but I didn't realy have time, I had so much work to do, I had so much letters to write. How are you and your family getting along, alright I hope? and your father and mother and the rest of the boys that are in the service, I am getting along O.K. and feeling fine, my wife and family are getting along O.K. but they was sick for about three months, I sure am glad to hear that they are getting better. I guess all of you were all cherred up when you heard the job was finished and it was a mistake. we heard all about it, but we are getting pretty good news now, it can't be to long now I sure hope not, it won't be to long until I have spent two birthdays over here, it sure seems a long time
