Dear Henry
I got your letter just the other day and sure was glad to hear from you and glad to hear that you are getting along good I am getting along fine, Edna and the kids are getting along good, but she says it is pretty dry, the place she got an't got much water, she has to get it over to her fathers it is alot of trouble to her, the kids sure are getting big she tells me. She is looking for me home by my birthday, but I am back in France again, they canceled all of the orders of the high point men, I don't know what they are going to do with me, but I sure hope I get to come home soon to see my wife and family. I am sure getting tired of France, and I am sure tired of the army I have been over here for over two years now it sure seems a long time, I was in paris the other day, I saw Elmer Smith, I sure was glad to see him, we talked to-gether about ten minutes, he has been over seas about two years and a half. he says he hears from Frank every once and awhile Wayne Turner got killed in Belgium during the break trough, it was to bad
