Fine $2.00 || The State of Indiana v. || Riot || Nathanial N Morris || Now on this 28th day of December 1863 comes Susan C. Ferguson and files her affidavit against N N Morris for Riot upon which I issue a writ for said Morris to any constable of said county and handed said writ to D. Marsh Constable and now on this 29th day of December 1863 comes the Constable and makes return of writ with the body of the defendant in custody and now come the parties the state of Hester G Bainbridge and the defendant by W. W. Browning his attorney the case called the parties being ready for trial and evidence sworn and fully examined all things looking the same it is therefore considered that the state of Indiana received a judgment for two dollars fine and all casts of suit and the defendant stand in custody until fine be paid or staid or he be otherwise duly discharged and now comes the defendant and files his bond for an appeal to the common pleas court || given under my hand and seal this 29th day of December 1863 William S.
