Transcription	Falmouth Va Feb 16th 1860 Dear Mother & Sister I Again seat myself to rite you a few lines to inform you that I am well at this time and I hope that when those few lines comes to hand they may find you all in good h ealth I have nothing of much interest to rite to yo at this time but I am now working in a place where I can rite to you once a weeke and I think that I will try and make use of the time the grand army of the Potomac is just like the united States of America it is about plaid anl and I am sory of it to but poor private keepe you mouth shut or you will be sent to the rife rafes at once and I just think as much as I want to but it is very low but there is a time coming I hope when I can call my self an amarican citizen one more time and then I will tell some of them just how it is and if they do not mind they might slip up on it give my love to all insuring friends, and rite soon good bye Milt to Mother & Sister
