Transcription	Chestnut Hill Hospital Philadelphia Pa Nov 2o/63 Dear Mother I seat myself this morni ng to write you a few lines to let you Know how I am at this time my eyes ar not much better Dear Mother I hope that you ure well when you get this and Kind Mother I wrot to you on the 20 of this month that I had not got that money but it kume to hand yestrday the 22 I ull so wrote to you that I was trying to get home and if I do I will let you know when I Will be there you wanted to know whether I did not draw my pay I have not Drawene but $45 Since I have been Here there is something wrong with the papers some way and they say that we will get our pay before long and if made I Will send you the money Back again if you Wisk it So I will stop at this time Write soon as you get this Fare the Well M M Nichols
