Syracusise Nov 25th 1861 Mr james M How Dr Ser I hasteen to write you a line and give you all the information I can inlation to E. Graham and intrust to you the very unplesant task of braking this information to his parents he was with us on our march to springfield and in camp near that place I Sew he was Quite unwell and on our return had him with many others put in a waggon to ride he came into camp Every Knight and Seamed no warse.. when we Reached Otterville all the Sick went into Town..(this lies on the RR.) - with the understanding they ware going to St Louis..he was no wars here then when we left Springfield. Seven days before, I thought up to this day he was still in otterville, [?] of our (excuse) for a doctor where he was and he did not Know..on this Evenings Misaurie Democrat we find a notice of his death at the hospital in St Louis..this is all I can in truth Say Except to, Express my cinceur Simpathy & Sorrow at his fate & also that of his comerades
