[letterhead] Headquarters Regional Hospital Fort Knox, KY. Office of the Chaplain
October 20, 1944
Mr. Dorsey
Speed, Indiana.
Dear Mr. Dorsey:
Chaplain Randolph, Post Chaplain, suggested that you and your group might like to come to the Old Cantonment Hospital Chapel sometime soon for the 6:00 P.M. Sunday Hymn-Sing to furnish musical numbers and I believe doughnuts afterwards. October 29th is the date for the Savage Party in the Hospital, but I am sure the next Sunday would be alright if it suited you and your group.
When I saw you over in the A.R.T.C. I never dreamed I would be over in the hospital on temporary duty or I might have gotten your initials and a bit more. If you can come and we know it in time I think we can get out maybe 60 to 80 and it will be appreciated.
Sincerely yours,
Charles L. Carpenter
