Dear Gerry,
Tuesday I received a letter from Miss Leola Caudill, Junior Hostess at Service Club No. 1, inviting our girls to come to Fort Knox for a Sunday afternoon party. You were certainly prompt in making the suggestion to the service club that we would like to come over, and I do appreciate it very much. I am writing Miss Caudill for a few more particulars, them probably we will try to come over within a few weeks.
We enjoyed having you out last weekend and hope you can come back for another of our parties sometime soon. Perhaps you can get two or three others to come with you. The pictures we took on Sunday all turned out fine.
I hope we will see you soon, either here or at Fort Knox.
