Miss Betty Grosbach, President
Sunshine Society
Silver Creek High School
Sellersburg, Indiana
Dear Betty:
Several days ago I received a check for $5.00 from your Society to be used for the entertainment of service men here at the Community House. I appreciate this gift very much and I hope you will extend my thanks to the girls of your Society for their thoughtfulness and generosity.
In the nearly two years that we ahve been having these parties, almost 400 men have been given a good time for a full weekend through the cooperation of the many people who have given of their time and money for these parties. I am sure these men appreciate what has been done for them and I know that I speak for them and for the others who will come when I say thanks again for your part in helping to continue these parties.
Sincerely,
Jesse G. Dorsey
