The future of the building will be of interest to residents and business owners alike. Photo bv R . Jenkim November 21,1997, was the last da of business for the popular restaura located on the northwest comer ( Main and Meridian Streets i Greentown. Opened in May 1993, th restaurant had offered a menu of Italia foods and sodas. The owners, cousin Thomas and Jerome Malott, bought th did extensive renovating inside and facelift of the outside. Malottch Brothers Grande Soda Fountain ant Italian Restaurant employed a h twenty people at any one time, high school students. Thomas is now m a full- time studen at Butler University. Jerome wants tc pursue I; emodeling and txmstructio~ projects. Atterhavingthefacilityonthg market for some time, the two buildings and contents will be auctioned at the 100 W. The purpose of this long- standing tradition of the Lions Club is to collect money in order to provide baskets of food at Christmas for people less fortmate in Eastern Howard County. The hours will be Friday 3: OO p. m. to 6: OO p. m. and Saturday hm 8: OO a. m to 3: OO p. m.
