The Different Faces of February
March has a reputation of being the month of “ In like a lion, out like a lamb”.
however, tlus February is mimicking March’s normal weather. Early February Sam

of activities of both ends of the month.
Animal Sentinels Formed of Snow
This cat and dog were built of snow on a day in early February when
. school was cancelled because of road conditions. Julie Mohr and sons
Brandon, 10; Chris, 9; and Zachary, 2 built the animals which were
enjoyed by passersby and visitors to Greentown Animal Hospital.

Truck Enters Church
= Extensive Damage

In the early hours of Sunday, February
20, Daniel E. Cain, age 23, 621 S.
Maple St., Greentown, drove a ‘ 99 Ford
F250 through a wall of Christian Life
Fellowship Church, 1009 Holiday Dr.,
Sreentown. The police report states
. hat he was “ doing donuts” and lost
: ontrol. of his vehicle and struck the

: hurch budding. The impact left a large
iole in the wall and destroyed a second

was pushed inside the building. A

Gary Hoover, pastor of the church,
meports that the area damaged was used

Insurance adjustors have advised the
congregation to obtain the advice of a
reconstruction contractor to ascertain
whether structural damage was done.
While waiting for that determination,
action is being taken to bring in an
ozone machine to clean % e air. Carpet
and upholstery throughout the building
will be cleaned. Congregation members
will begin to take out the carpet in the
damaged wing.
Rev. Hoover reports that they have
brought in portable partitions to make
the remainder of the building more
usable for classrooms. The church
leaders are considering what other
options they may have in order to carry
on their ministry during the
construction, which will take several
weeks or months. They have talked
about mobile units or fmdmg other
areas in the community on a temporary
basis.
