The Whitko Community Digital Collection consists of images of five townships of the Whitko area in northeastern Indiana. Many residents and groups have loaned photographs for this ongoing project to document our community from past to present. We invite the public to share photographs and help us identfy people and places by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org.
The project is hosted by the South Whitley Cleveland Township Public Library and the Pierceton Library, in collaboration with the Kosciusko County Historical Society.
The project was funded with a grant from the Indiana State Library made possible by the Library Services and Technology Act and administered by the Institute for Museum and Library Services. Other funders include Indiana Humanities with support from the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Kosciusko County Community Foundation, the Prieceton Library Friends, the Whitley County Community Foundation, Dolores Kirkham, Doris Kubacki, Edith Menzie, and private donations.
