Description	Charles D. Porter was a founding member of the Bank of Geneva. Listed as cashier, he played a prominent part in not only banking, but as the owner of a drug store, treasurer of the Geneva Natural Gas Company and as a member of the Sons of Veterans, Indiana Division. We see a glimpse of Gene's artwork above the mantle. The work can be seen in its near entirety on page 105 of Rollin King's book, Gene Stratton-Porter, a lovely light.
