THOS. R. MARSHALL ASSOCIATED WITH WALKER & HOLLETT ATTORNEYS & COUNSELLORS INDIANA TRUST BUILDING INDIANAPOLIS MERLE N.A. WALKER JOHN F. HOLLETT October 13, 1924. Judge Dan M. Link, Auburn, Indiana. My dear Dan: I have your letter of October 10 and shall be glad to do anything I can to assist you in the case. I will trust you to file the Appearance; in the meanwhile I will let Anderson know about it. As to the Retainer, you can do as you please about that. I was over at Wabash last week and saw Marshall for a minute. I believe he is going to be satisfied, which, of course, will be a matter of great pleasure to me. Learned after she had left, that Blanche had been down here and gone to the hotel, and that part of it we did not like very well. I suppose you thought we would be crowded on that occasion, which was true, but we always have room for a friend. I assume that nothing will come up until after the election in this law suit, because from Thursday on I shall be constantly engaged in the campaign. Regardfully yours,
