Description	The Smith Hotel is rather a mystery to those who live or vacation at Bass Lake. It is thought to have been owned by a Dr. Smith who lived at the north end of Bass Lake. It may easily have been more of a family guest house or what we would call a Bed and Breakfast today. Nonetheless you can see that it definitely has "Smith's Hotel" on the front.
