Notes
Eastman-Kodak Brownie Camera No. 2C model A, with No. 130 film. Additional informaton: In 1886 the Sandborn Fire Insurance maps list this address as a dwelling but by 1902 it is listed as a bakery. However, one year later a grocery store was located on the property and it remained a grocery store until the mid 1920's. J. H. Waltz ran the grocery from at least 1909 until sometime between 1923 and 1925. The old building must have been torn down about this time as the 1925 city directory lists a gas station on this corner. From 1927 until the 1970's it was a Standard Service Station. In 1977 the Michael E. Pocobello Farmily renovated the old station and it became the home of "Bello's Pizza." Bello's remained until about 1998 when the pizza shop relocated to North Madison. The old service station got a new coat of paint and became the home of "The Red Pepper Deli."
